This action packed model lesson session will be running two simultaneous tracks.
Student participants will begin by completing the pre-assessment tool to determine learning style.
After determining if they are an eye (visual learner), ear (auditory learner), or a hand (kinesthetic learner) they will select a lesson on Transformations ( flips, slides and turns) from the choice board that best meets their learning style.
As the teacher guides the students through the lesson track, the moderator will share with the audience a variety of resources that can be used to create a classroom where differentiated instruction becomes the driving force that keeps the enthusiasm for learning pumping through the veins of the classroom.
To summarize the session will target the following objectives:
- the importance of getting to know the learner
- the importance of assessing the learner
- the importance of creating a learning plan that takes into account various needs of the learner
- the benefits of utilizing technology resources to streamline the process of creating differentiated lesson plans

Ladies,
I found your session to be one of the most helpful to me at the NECC Conf. I will be doing workshops for my teachers this fall and actually going into their classroom to help the do DI and Cooperative Learning. I hope you do not mind if I use your site as and example to get my own site going? Thanks for all of your hard work.
